It was brought to my attention today that someone in the world still comes here to see if I've written anything, and, sadly, finds nothing new usually. Yes, yes, it's true. I have been a blog loser lately. I just don't "feel" it. You know what I mean? I don't feel motivated to write on here, and usually don't even want to look (although I still force myself, to keep up w/other people's lives...can't get behind on what's going on w/other people, right?).
So, another reason for my absence has a lot to do with the fact that I have been busy, busy, BUSY lately. I feel like all I do is wake up for the day, feed the kids, run errands, feed the kids again, play, take a nap, feed them again, put them to bed, clean, then go to bed for three hours before I wake up to go to work, everyday. Oh, and then there's the whole new job I have. I spend three hours on Tuesday night, and two on Wednesday morning, delivering papers. Fun. It's helping on the money front, at least.
Hey, I've got a question for you. Since I know most anyone I think might still read this, I probably won't get much of an answer, but...Do any of you tip your newspaper delivery person or mailperson? If you do, or know someone who does, how much? I'm hoping to get some tips from my route, but I have no idea how it works, and I'm curious. Of course, I guess I could just wait and find out, but I'm so not good with the whole waiting thing!
Oh, get this: I finally get ahead of things and take the kids to get Christmas pics at the beginning of last month. I just took them to Wally World, b/c I was planning just to get the special deal. Of course, I got talked into a larger, much more expensive package that I couldn't afford. Nonetheless, I was excited to get pics of my beautiful babies. I went to pick them up today, and they messed them up. The main pic of them all together wouldn't print for some reason, so now I have to take them back to take the pic again! It was not easy getting them ready and taking them up there, and then actually taking a decent picture of them. Then you have to wait two weeks, too. I already waited almost a month for these! I was planning on sending out cards w/their pics in them (the package came w/about three million wallet sized pics!), and now I can't. Well, I could, but I might get some strange looks when people receive their Christmas cards on January 10th! I'm so bummed. Naturally, too, all three of them are now in dire need of a haircut, so I'll have to do that before I go so they will look human again! Boo, boo, boo! That's the last time I go to Wal-Mart for pictures. It's been a big disappointment all around!
Okay, well, I gotta go find some food for dinner now. I hope you have a great day, and I'll see you later.
Oh man, that totally blows about the walmart screw up. That's really too bad. We got our family photos done there in June, and I was very very happy with them and I was just about to book Nate's one year photos with them...
It's hard to say no to them though, they are just so darn cheap (base package anyways). You can't even print your own photo's cheaper.
