So I'm thinking that maybe Fridays are just not a possibility when it comes to posting. Also, Tuesdays are a rough one. Those are both the days that we have to drive to LA to get or give TJ. I will try, but please don't be upset if you don't see me post those days. Our entire evening is taken up on those days. Believe me, I'd much rather be posting than going, of course! Maybe someday we'll sell our house and not have to worry about going anymore!
So, today was a nice day. I didn't do anything, really. I thought of a bunch of stuff I could do, then some stuff I need to do. Then I thought of what I really wanted to do, and that was nothing. TJ is sick, and he's spoiled by his grandfather, who lets him sleep with him when he's there. So last night he woke up at around 2 am SCREAMING. I couldn't get him to lay back down, so I took him to our room. He went back to sleep, sorta. He tossed, he turned, he hit me in the head with his head (several times), he kicked me (also several times), he cried a lot. I'm pretty sure none of the three of us really got any good sleep last night. Poor Trey, who had to work today. Anyway, when we got up this morning, I felt not one bit rested. So, I fought it out for a few hours, and when the time came, tossed TJ in his bed for a nap (which he needed b/c he, too, was noticeably tired). Of course, he doesn't do that sleeping alone thing anymore. So he cried for about twenty minutes, till finally I got tired of hearing it, as I was trying to nap as well, and again brought him to my room. It worked, he slept. However, he only slept about a third of his normal nap, b/c, again, he is sick and could barely breathe when he was lying down. At least it was something, though. Oh, and I know Trey got no sleep, b/c he passed out tonight around 8 o'clock. He needs it, though.
So, after nap time and lunch, we bathed. Then we went to the playground. That was the big event of my day. We all need haircuts, TJ needs some pants, I need to return a dress, etc. I thought, though, that I would do something far more important. So TJ and I went to play. It was great! He ran away from me, I chased him. He drank from the water fountain. He ran away from me some more. I chased some more. A little girl tried to play with him, at which point he turned into a demure, bashful little flower. Funny stuff! Then Trey met us and we went to Moe's Southwest Grill. Gina and Wes told us it was good. I agree. It was pretty good, a lot like a place we went to in Charlotte, that I can't remember the name of. It's one of those trendy burrito kinda places. I thought mine was pretty good, Trey said his was alright. It was lacking in something, and I wanted sour cream, but did not want to pay almost another dollar for it. However, Charleston has the burrito BOMB, hands down, at Juanita Greenberg's. Although they shrunk them down some from the original two ton burritos, they are still the BEST I've found. Plus, you don't have to pay for every little thing. We vowed that sometime over the holiday season we will find time to go downtown and get the hook-up. So, for all you Charlestonians, or those who have close access, you are SOOO lucky! If not, though, Moe's isn't bad.
Alright, I guess I'll go now. I'm still tired, and I must rest to go visit God tomorrow. I'll talk to you then, and until we meet again, have a blessed and wonderful day!
Sorry TJ's not sleeping well. If it helps any, Alison just started sleeping by herself in the last few months. Andrew also took about 3 years. That probably doesn't help any.
We have a Moe's down here now. They have an Asian restaurant attached that is owned by the same people called Mama Fu's. I like them both. We went to Juanita Greenberg's once and it was awesome. I think they are owned by the Andolini's people. They made some great pizza.
